Ive done 22k in my fabia vrs and am now finding second gear to be somewhat clunky when selected. Its alot more noticeable when the engine is cold. Have previously experienced a similar problem on a friends car and the gear eventually broke. Im concerned this might happen to mine, which would be strange due to the milleage done. Can you help?

If it is under warrenty get it into the dealer.

Failing that how about some new, suitabl, fully synthetic gear oil to replace the stuff that is in the box.

ok cool will take it to the dealer and queary the oil, cheers
