It seems a good price but to put it in context I only paid 17k for my VRs (petrol) new with the same options.

Incidentally at the same time the sales manager couldn't sell me a demo VRs with 3k on it for less than £17,800 - it depends on how much the cars owe them...

Thanks for that Jonno. I didn't think that with such a highly recommended machine on their hands, discounts would be such commonplace! I suppose that the Focus ST probably had an effect on that, but it makes the Golf GTI look ridiculous value :eek:
