hi

can anyone help me, i have a 55 reg fabia VRS. when i change gear from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd i experience a grinding noise whilst the clutch is pressed down. happens when the engine has warmed up, when its cold it doesnt do this. if i change gear really, really slowly and smoothly this doesnt occur.

does anyone know the reason for this, or is this normal?

any help would be much appretiated

Hi there from my experience 06 VRS. I get this 2 . Previous Fabia didn`t do this "smooth as silk". Look in the forums for this issue, maybe gear linkeage needs greasing or maybe gearbox oil needs topping up, although i have not remedied mine but mine looks like a "Lemon".

so this grinding noise is it a normal thing?

think i better take it back to the dealers for them to look at
