I did see somewhere that there is a clip under the cover, near where your pinkey would be when you put your hand on the handbrake grip. I havnt actually looked though

The one on SWMBOs car was loose when we got it, so fitting the leather one was easy. I think that there must be more than one version of handbrake on the Fabia because the leather cover I got off eBay doesn't have the same curvature as the one I took off so it doesn't fit quite right meaning that I had to pack it a bit.
