OK, I give up having read the synphony instruction book - how the hell do you turn off the traffic alert totally. I know when you get the interuption you press tp to return to your listening station or CD but how do you turn it off so as you do not get the interruption in the first place.

Please help!

Surely pressing the same button when there isn't an announcement toggles the system on and off? And yes, it can be a pain at times.

As per my other response in the other thread:

It does NOT toggle it off, it either toggles it off once OR it turns it ON for TA mode.

Use the FM button to toggle it OFF permanently
