It's good stuff - buy it at an Audi\Seat\VW garage if there's no Skoda one nearby...

But water it down as it smells awful neat :(

The second 'Screenwash' related thread in a week......you couldn't make it up.

Enthralling :D

If I use Halfords Own brand Screenwash, It shouldn't affect the Waranty should it ??..... ...;)

Good God ! Dont even consider it !

You may well lose performance too as Halfords screenewash is a heavier liquid and requires more ppm when diluting !

The halford stuff fills the fanjets with skuzz :(

The dealer stuff however is bleeding expensive when you have to put two bottles in a tank for winter frost protection. :(

At the end of the day it is only a bit of alcohol in the tank.

I know a couple of dealers supply Autoglym screenwash over the Skoda/VW item, even when specifying it was for fan-jet washers.

I ues the Halfrauds ready mixed screen wash. 10 litres for

I have had no problems with that and it smeels nice too.

And what problems should we usually expect with screenwash? Really? I despair.

Indeed - I've never ever had any problems with any brand of screenwash, with the exception of the VAG stuff which stinks if the car is left standing for a few days! I just use whatever I have available

Chris

Autoglym All Seasons screenwash for me. Excellent cleaning power, nice smell and if mixed correctly, it doesn't freeze.

Either that or Mopar from Jeep dealers.

I can honestly say that i did have problems with the halfords stuff and deposits building up in the jets.

I'm completely lost as to what on earth the difference is mind, esp when you can not buy the dealer stuff in 5l bottles. :(

Anyway how much is the autoglym stuff?

i found only the skoda foamed when spraying any thing else just comes out like water

Autoglym stuff is around
