Alas...tis true....my Octy is going to a new caring home.:(

Will be sad to see it go as it is a fantastic car....but a change in requirements plus a need for something different meant it had to go.

Thought long and hard about selling it but once I decided that was it.

I believe Q was more than happy with the low boost performance....managed to spin the wheels in the first three gears in the dry.

I showed him what the high boost mode could do...skkrreeeee....."Oh my God!"...I think was what Q said.

I've had had lot of fun...and satisfaction...creating something a little different...it's was one of the first IHI Octavias to be done and would highly recommend it.

So...look after it well Q and it'll bring a smile to your face everytime!

Exhaust looks like standard but larger......it is louder due to 3'' dp and the bigger turbo but not overly so.....sounds nice in tunnels.

In a genuine private road experiment (Upper Heyford USAF base), ColinD's Octavia was 5mph slower on the straight than my Elegance Estate - despite his having more power. We put this down to the spoiler.

I guess that isnt an issue on a day-to-day basis though and Q's new toy will have a tadge more power to overcome the drag

WRC wing definately knocks a few mph off.......Des and Paul have verfied this previously.

Acceleration wise...I don't think it makes a difference....not that I noticed anyway.

Aye....it's a bit different from the main stream....I'd also opt for the Classic multi fin alloys.....no cost option..... 19''.....245 tyres at the rear........would be a bugger to clean but what the hell.

The handling is on a par with a RWD car and I'll sleep safe in the knowledge that poor weather conditions + no coffee at 6am in the morning does not equal a call to the insurance company
