BTW, the dyno on high boost and on low boost.

and again :D

I prefer the look of the low boost curve ;)

Stuarts torque curve seems a lot flatter too.

Unless Jabba have shown you it Ive never posted it as I havent got a scanner,

you must be thinking of the 250 bhp map I posted years ago pre IHI

I could be a pre-IHI map actually - its the one you email to me over a year ago.

Mine is similar, just slightly higher figures, it could be mapped harder due to the strengthened internals

Mine (technically speaking it is still Adrian's) is running with less torque dialled in on the high boost map as it is still running the standard clutch and internals. I may decide in the future to replace those too, but for now it is perfect.

Shame I dont work at the airfield just 20mins from you anymore, Q.

I think you will find it more than adequate, my internals were strengthened purely so that I could do long flat out runs on my European adventures, something you wont achieve in the UK.

I think the Clutch will need doing at some point, apart from that you have a very well looked after car with the IHI magic :) :)

I used low boost mode majority of time.....just drive so damn well.

High boost mode works well or motorway or if you want to play and use full throttle........skkkreeee.....that's the sound the turbo makes at high boost due to the ball bearing. :D

Yep...torque is tuned down for high boost because I asked Jabba to take the standard internals into consideration.

Haven't had any clutch slip at all but uprated one and LSD were on my "to do" list.

I thought you said that that sound was the noise that the blades make as they touch the casin due to a possible worn thrust bearing

...or it could be that.:P

Which means.... ?!?!?

hides the chequebook ;)

I take it it's pretty quick then??

Wow, I'm the winner! Yay!!!!

Good choice Q, hope it serves you well. :)

I chased a Ferrari 355 Spyder through the Tunnels into Italy at ???mph, at the end of the run he commented on how loud the turbo on mine was :) :)

After a few miles thrashing they really start to sing

Good choice of car, hope you have fun with it:thumbup: :D

It's here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!oneone11!!! :D

Picked it up from Ade (who kindly cleaned the car, but as it was **** poor weather it was all for nothing) tonight and took the long way home. What an event to drive it

As I just joined the A404 I came across this nice looking Seat Ibiza who was looking for a play. Well aware of the conditions (atrocious) we kept to the limits and at the end of the A404 I thought we would part ways... Not so. He followed me all the way home and at the last roundabout before turning into my home he indicated to go that way, whilst I wanted to go past it to drive on the the nearest Maccy D's for some food. We both stopped, looked at each other, and then I thought, hang on, I know this car! Turns out that he lives a couple of houses away from me and his Ibiza has been fettled with too. Small world :)

Anyway, proper piccies will follow once it is daylight, dry and I cleaned it again :D

So how much of Adrian's "to do" list are you going to fulfil? ;)

I've got plenty of plans, some of which will be done quickly, others may have to wait a bit :)

LSD is highly recommended, it makes a very nice difference on my (Fab) vRS but with the kinda power/torque you're pushing it would really do the job.

That said it's a big amount of dosh, and I'd do the clutch at the same time to save on the labour cost.

Nice purchase

What a beast of an Octy! Would it beat a Fabia 2.0? ;)
