This came on tonight while going to college,drove the car there and back( a good 30 miles all in) and nothing seems amiss,sounds fine and goes as well as ever.Any ideas what it could be?The car is a 2002 Octavia VRS.

Funny mine did that,After my little crash.. was told that it was mas air flow meter!! skoda said poor battery??

Best to get a VAG-COM connected to see what the problem is.

Cheers,dont know anyone with VAG-COM tho,but im in balloch loch lomond if anyone on here in the vicinity has it,it be much appreciated.

But from searching through the forums my car isnt showing any of the signs usually associated with common problems such as MAFs,coil packs etc.

Maybe a trip to your local dealer or VAG specialist ???????

Just incase the motor is ill.

Got it booked in on friday for a check,fingers crossed its nothing serious.
