My wife has Fabia vRS, utterly wonderful car, March 2005, silver, chosen after a direct side by side comparison with a BMW 120d.

Anyway, yesterday my wife put the satnav unit in the drawer under the drivers seat and now said drawer it jammed shut.

I've not had chance to look at it in the light of day, but anyone come across a jammed cubby drawer before and know if there's an easy way to free it?

A good hard yank should open the door (it's a door that is hinged at the bottom, not a drawer that slides out.). The catch is nothing special.

The box itself is only held in place by 4 screws, but you need to take the seat out to get at them.
