What do you lot think of this, looks like a great deal to me. I got my PC from ALDI a couple of years ago, but fancy a lap top now.

just to warn you , the good gear always sells out quick at Aldi , so it may not be in stock when you go to the shop , the spec looks ok but i'm no expert

Yeah, tell me about it. When I got the PC, I wasn't sure what time they opened so I got there at 8am, they didn't open 'til 9, by which time there was 7 of us waiting!!!

Looks like a bargain to me

Depends what you want to do with it, not use for Gaming with that Graphics Card. Core Solo at 1.6GHZ is not that quick these days.

It's pretty low spec, eg 1.66 Core solo, (approx equiv to a 2Ghz P4) or maybe a 1.8Ghz Pentium M.

Depends what you want it for as £499 isn't bad for a lappy, but then you can get them from Dell for the same price. Software bundle isn't too bad as long as you don't want office as opposed to an office suite (eg works).

Have a quick nosey around at dell, HP and Dixons etc and if you are still intersted get there early and go get one.

EDIT: That turion 2.0Ghz won't actually be much faster if any than the core solo 1.66Ghz, but again it just goes to show that there are plenty of good deals out there.
