Exploded diagram of rear courtesy lights

Featured Replies

I now have the rear courtesy lights for my vrs and will fit them this weekend.

Just need a couple of more items. Does anyone have an exploded woring diagram of these including the cable from the lights to power source, I'm assuming they actually tap off of the front courtey light.

Also is the a bracket that holds the light in place or does it just mount to the cutout in the headlining?

Think I'm right in saying that I'm the first member to try this out, so I'll create a guide as I carry out this task, then share with you all.

Cheers

Id imangine it would be the same as in my toledo, you will probably need to cut out a rectangle in the headlining, there should hopefully be somewhere for it to mount into the roof, pull down the headlining and see.

As for wiring, its easy just run a wire from the rear lights to the front lights and tap the power off that.

Yeah, I'm quite happy to tap of the front lights but Ideally I'd like to use an OEM cable.

Let you and everyone know what I find out.

Apparantely the rear courtesy lights run from a different loom, and I can't just by the OEM part I need if i were to buy all the parts it could get expensive, I'll just have to make my own one up, time to bring out the soldering iron.

Hi ! This topic is old-ish , but I am realy curious if you managed to install the rear courtesy lights , and if so , please can you give me some part numbers and soldering indications ? Thank you

"rear courtesy lights "

What are they?

That's the light above the rear grip handles , above the doors.

Always thought the vRS needed these....it's pitch black in the rear when it gets dark.

I didn't fit them in the end, and now I have a Roomster with rear lights as standard. I sold the courtesy lights for the Fabia to another member on here.
