The interior light on my mothers 1.2 12v Fabia stays on after the doors are locked even though the switch is in the correct position and flattening her battery, she has to leave it in the off position so it is dark getting in.

Anybody have any ideas before I take it back to the dealers which is a pain for such a small job

maybe an interior light swich is faulty.....I think they are inside the door lock so not the easyest thing to get to

Thanks I have booked it in to the dealer for her as it is beyond me, the light can be on permanently or off but opening the door has no effect, so it might be the switch on the roof or the switch on the door.

My friendly dealer can sort it out.
