I'm not sure whether this should be in the historical section, apologies if so. Being of advancing years I can remember driving an Octavia in 1961. It was a bilious green colour and there were holes in the floor where the pedals went through! I pretended that I could afford to buy it and took it for a 'spin' from a dealer. I've been looking for information and photos about this model but can't find much. I'd be very grateful if someone could suggest some sources. Are there any of these cars still around or did they all rot away years ago?

Note how passenger area appears to sit on wings. Rather humped rear line. Shallow windscreen and smallish windows. Divided bumpers with vertical overriders. Disc wheels with large, plain hubcaps"

Worth noting that Skoda producing cars in "hairdresser yellow" is not a recent thing
