Can anyone help, have removed my Std radio from my Oct 06 reg Fab, slid in a Symphony from an 03 Vrs octav and i have sounds for approx 45 mins then shuts down, no illumination aaargh.

Have skoda changed the wiring (No red or yellowin the Loom).

If your Fabia is a MY2007 then maybe it's the same as the MY2007 Octavia, where there no ignition switched +12v or illumination control (all done via CanBus). Your unit is then switching off after 45mins as it thinks the ignition is off and doesn't want to drain the battery!

CanBus is the system that all the electronic bits of a car use to talk to each other.

ie - the radio is told that the lights are on and the iginition status (on or off) all via the same peice of wire...
