Idling problem

Featured Replies

Has anyone experienced this with a VRS 05 Reg

When idling the engine feels lumpy. The revs don't oscilate but it feels like its trying to cut out or like the fly wheel isnt balanced:confused:

Any ideas:D Its still under warranty but i wont to go armed with the facts as these annoying problems never show up on the computer

Thanks

hhhmmmm mine feels a bit lumpy when cold, but that may be due to the fuel temp sensor giving some wierd readings ;)

my 04 VRS occasionally has a lumpy idle but nothng i worry about

but faulty DMFs can cause misfires/poor idling , take it to a dealer to get it checked out

might be worth checking out the egr valve too!

Mt O5 VRs only does it when idling when the car is facing downhill!
