For the trusty 53 reg Vrs to go in p/x for the new VRs, are there any little differences between the two models (apart from the stutter!!!) or have they been that good a seller that its remained unchanged?

are you part exchanging a 53 fabia vRS for a 56 fabia vRS?? are you made or made of money? :confused:

certainly not made of money, but get cheap loan through my work, it actually works out cheaper per month to get a new VRs, but of course I will pay for longer....had a new car every 2 years since 88, had the VRs 3 years though....

Planning on changing motorbike in new year, suppose I'm at the age where I can treat myself......

Differences (off the top of my head) are:

- revised rear light cluster

- no rear door pins

- shorter gear ratios

- Euro IV (or was that just '06?)

- 3 flash indicators

Think that's it, but I've probably missed a couple....

just that from what i've read the brand new ones don't run perfectly and if yours does is it worth changing?

i'd love to be able to have a brand new car every 2 years myself

mine 06 runs perfectly. so not sure what your on about? yes it has a slight stutter and does not affect driving

I asked at the dealer & I'm informed that the "stutter" is on the way to being cured.

On the gear ratios thing - the only gear ratio that is shorter is 6th, the rest are identical to the old box IIRC.

Did you specify any options like ESP etc?

I specified, xenons, cruise, ESP.

Was going for leather, but decided against it...
