Is this an option on the Octavia? I always thought my vRS had it but I found out that a brake light had died today and there was no warning light.... Maybe the bulb has blown

Reading my manual, it has a * next to it, so I guess that means optional. I had a broken rear left hand brake light and did not get a warning. The owners manual says it should warn for:

- side lights

- dipped beam

- brake lights

Mine too had blown brake light and no warning indication.
