Aero wipers to fit current arms

Featured Replies

Or you could join in the group buy for some proper aero wipers and arms.

Get the proper ones as they sit out the way better and buying replacement blades are cheaper.

Also i remember saying somebody didn't think those adapted kits worked very well, however that might not have been the valeo ones.

Of course, you could always go with Rain-X - maybe not as cheap as wiper blades, but pretty much guaranteed to not smear!

I used to find rain-x used to smeal like anything in light rain when you wiped the screen. At the same time I havn't used it on the octy either.

i have the proper aero wipers thanks to a GB on here and they are excellent, best wipers i've ever had :) they have done 2 400+ mile journeys without a hitch.

What do these 'proper' aero wipers look like? Anyone got some close up pictures of them fitted?

I'll take a picture of my Octy tomorrow and post it up - as I shall be working from home....

That fabia has the aftermarket ones not the OEM ones. I'll try and get a pic if matt doesn't get there before me.

Wow, hadn't realised there are so many different aero wipers :D

Actually those arms (qv), if not the blades, look pretty much like the ones on my Octy.

Right, well those look different to the ones on my Octy, but I still say that the standard Octy ones look like those on Chris's Furbie.

Mine are from the mk4 Golf group buy.....

mine look like them there piccies, not at all like normal arms as they don't have a bend in them.

Indeed Matts ones are the the MKIV golf OEM aero arms, and don't fit on standard arms.

Anyone from the group buy would have recieved new arms and aero blades.
