.... hard plastic armrests?

My former Elegance Tdi had soft cushioned armrests, but my nearly new vRS has hard plastic ones? :(

Not very comfortable for my bony elbows!

Long story short no. They don`t come as standard or as an option. Guess you have some added extras courtesy of the former owner through E-Bay.

I meant the armrests on the doors.

My apologies. This is correct. Hard plastic. But never noticed as they are OK for me. Although i am 5"6 , and i am guessing that height to size ratio play a factor in this.

I am 5'6 too. i put my arm on the door next to the window, which is plastic too

Sounds like a potential upgrade is possible... Anyone got any piccies of non-hard-plastic armrests?

I agree... the armrests are horrid, they kill my elbows as well...annoying things
