Newbee here.

I am thinking of buying an Octavia vRS estate 1.8t (approx 2003). It is only recently that I have started looking at them. At present I have a Vectra GSI (2.5 V6).

Is the Octavia a good buy?

I would say yes, seeing I am on my 2nd vRS in almost 4 years...

I have had mine for nearly 3 years, and really chuffed with it. Lugs the loads around, no reliability issues, and goes like stink, especially after a remap

I'd say so.

Had mine a few months now........................LOVE IT.
