I really do not get on with XP, I have attempted to resize an image that was too big to put on a thread as an attachment. I went to find the pic and when I went to open it I was asked what I wanted to use, it was a viewer and there was nowhere to do the resizing :confused:

use image resizer from here, just right click the image and select resize image.

have you tried some of the other powertoys

tweakUI, cleartype tuner and alt tab replacement are great.

The only picture viewer you'll ever need (until you get into Photoshop)

When it's just a matter of resizing images, I use Mihov's Image Resizer. It reads jpeg and various other formats and comes in quite useful when you want to resize a whole batch of photos.
