Can one of you guys with a vRS do me a favour and have a peak underneath your car and let me know if the engine undertray is the big one that covers the whole engine between the front bumper to somewhere near (and maybe including) the subframe or weather is is a small more rectangular shaped one that only covers the sump.

I think its only a small one, A number of members broke their sumps during a wales meet (i think). Hopefully this helps

I've got a spare if you want it.

It's just a sump guard that is held in place by around 8 torx (star) screws

Every one else - thanks for the pic's and confirmation its the small one - thats the one I bought.

PS - a drop of new fuel and the engine fired first time - no problems what so ever. Its the first time its run in nearly 2 years

Yep - 14,500 on the clock with was a bit high at the time of destruction (was a company car) but now low for the age (3 yrs in May.)
