Ive never been charged for a courtesy car at my Skoda garage , not even for insurance. Even now they just advertise as a 'Skoda Specialist' (no official ties with SUK anymore) I still get a free car , usually either a Fabia or one of their demo Mitsubishis.

Nothing's ever free - I suspect the cost has been discretely factored into the cost of the service ;)

Chris

I think i said no, but was considering maybe saying yes due to annoying at the dealers.

After seeing how well it survived a crash it's an uncatagoric no i don't regret buying it.

Will I buy another? That depends on my insurance.

Cheers Chris; that was rather my point. BTW I phoned an Audi dealer near (like half a mile from) the Skoda dealer I got my last service from, and asked them to quote for the same work on a 52-reg A4 TDi110, and would have paid £30 more than the Skoda dealer charged, so I know where the cost of the "free" courtesy car was being recovered! ;)

NO - no regrets at all.

I have six Fabia 1.4 comforts in our Company and they have serevd us well. OK they have had some mechanical faults but no more that other previous makes inc. VW Golfs. Would happily buy more although some staff are still snooty about Skoda's image; perhaps that will continue to improve with the new Fabia.

Dealership for service has been fine, always polite, gets the job done sometimes at short notice; a small gripe though that suggest anything that relates to non-Skoda parts (i.e. Koni sport shock absorbers) there is an intake of breath and 'sorry, can't do that' - I thought they would apprerciate the work.

For me; I'm up for more and have recently been test driving the Octavia vRS, both TFSI and TDI; aiming to buy the TDI, just now trying to decide on what options.
