A speed camera on the M4 in South Wales is to be removed because it causes congestion due to motorists slowing down.

Does this mean that speeding isnt so important after all ? I interpret this as Governmental encouragement not to reduce speed !. We are told these cameras are selectively placed with only safety in mind!. If thats true, I must protest, as a motorist isnt my safety is being endangered by the removal of this camera?.

Or doesn't it demonstrate what Bullshyte, claptrap, lies and damned lies we are told by Government out for financial gain and nothing else.

speed camera's are sooo dangerous at times, the amount of people i follow through one who jam on their brakes as they aren't aware of the speed they are doing so slow down anyway just in case, must be bloody dangerous on a motorway.

most cameras are placed where they do no good for the public and create revenue only.

That is so true - have encountered it on numerous occasions, and in some cases they were not going that fast.
