Cruise on a Fabia

Featured Replies

I know it's difficult to retrofit cruise but for those that have it as standard do you really use it?

I had cruise on my V5 Golf and in 3 years of ownership probably used it four or five times, our roads really cannot allow us to use cruise for long periods.

I used cruise in California late last year and on one stretch of road had it enabled for 150 miles, now that really is making use of the feature. Don't think it's worth the extra pennies in this country though.

My Furby came with Cruise, I wouldn't have ordered it specifically. To be honest, I don't use it that much, the only times really I use it is if the motorway is pretty empty - for example late at night. Sometimes it is useful to use on a long 30 or 40mph stretch as well to make sure you stick to that speed.

Big K is on the case - and I'll be having it a.s.a.p. Very useful for me as much of my driving is spent on dual carriageway / motorway at 70 to 80mph.

On the cars that I use with CC on, I pretty much use it everywhere, its much better on fuel economy than I could ever pull off (I managed to get 60 mpg on a brand new 500 miles PD 130 superb) and for the price you pay for it its a bargin that'll pay it self off pretty quickly.

Matt

Use it on mine almost all the time i'm on the motorway, did 500miles of motorway driving this week and got 56mpg doing 85mph most the time :)

if it helps i got the VAG activation codes ere somewhere

most of teh SEAT's could only have it 20vt/tdi/ upper engines really

worth a test - especially as some have it std - its possible

where's me spade i got some digging to do :P
