Hi,

My Fabia vRS is producing a 4491 error, i havent a clue what was used to detect this but would like some help identifying what is causing it. I've added some additional info as to what ive been told the error is from

Error 4491

MAF B+ short

Sorry for being a little sparse, but this is all i have now.

MAF sensor has been changed but the error is still happening. THe guys are looking at checking some wires but it could take ages to find the culprit.

Change the maf again, its possible the replacement is also faulty. Otherwise I would guess wiring as has already been mentioned.

well, they say its nothing to worry about as it drives fine, but i feel uneasy.

What did you use to read this code?

VAG COM was used.

Sorry, but I doubt that since VC would give you a different fault code. However, if I am wrong and you are right, you should be able to use the Copy Codes button on the fault code screen to give us the complete information.
