Which Nokia phone charger is this?

Featured Replies

Hi,

My mum has recently bought a Fabia which has a Nokia phone charger built in. Does anyone know what type of Nokia phone will fit it from the picture?

Thanks,

Jon.

I don't know which one, but it does look like it's got some sort of aerial (GPS?) going in the back. May help narrow it down a bit.

6310i I reckon, it looks a lot like the one I had many moons ago. The plug at the back is for the external antenna

Best phone that nokia ever made imho wish I still had one

I am 100% confident that is a 5110/6110/6150/6210/62310/6310i car kit.

I've installed more of those than I care to remember.

The connector is for the external aerial and there is often a small rubber bung that needs to be removed from the phone prior to using it in the car kit.

If you want a blue tooth car kit, i believe the microphone and power connectors from the CK7w plug straight into that and you just need to change over the box and remove the cradle.

If you have one of those phone i find it is a very good kit, however it does usually use an external loudspeaker.

Look on tinternet there are now convertors for this kit CARK126 to make it pop port compatible (ie most of the normal nokias around now) for about

CARK-91 is the kit number for the picture shown.

I have a spare one in my roof space if anyone wants it for the odd beer voucher :-)

I have one of these in my dads car (he has a 6310 atm) i just bought him a 6230 (with the pop port) ive had a look on ebay for the adapters to allow this phone to work but cant find any :S

I think you can buy the adapters direct from Nokia, but I guess they won't be as cheap...

Do you know the actual name of them?
