New forum member - & wind noise?

Went through intensive research before deciding a 2nd hand Fabia 1.9TDI estate was the thing for our little family - and then went on to buy a Fabia estate, but the 1.9SDI instead. The TDI's were just too damned popular to get hold of one at a decent price.

As it turns out, the SDI is fine, enough acceleration for us, and just a way better car than we were driving before. and economical, too. 57mpg and insurance group 2 is easy on the budget.

Only niggle is that the wind noise from the front windows seems loud even at 60-70mph. Anyone out there with any advice on how to reduce this, or is it uncommon?
