I have Ocatvia Elegance estate '55 reg and when i locked it today my high level brake light stayed on although a lot dimmer than normal.

When I open the boot it goes off but then comes on again when I shut the boot lid.

Can anyone help me resolve this? I can't even find a fuse or a way to disconnect it.

It doesn't shut off when the engine starts or when I lock it up??

CONFUSED!!!!

I had a problem with all the brake lights stopping on or coming on randomly in the middle of the night, was due to a faulty switch on the brake pedal. If I lifted the pedal up they went off. Ended up with a flat battery one morning so get it looked at ASAP.

I tried that Dave but what is weird is that it's only the high level light that illuminates, not the other brake lights, and even then it lights up dimmly.

I've just wrestled with the cover of the boot lid and have disconnected it so hopefully I've averted the flat battery scenario but I would still light to sort it properly if possible.

I had to have high level brakelight replaced so maybe there's a common fault somewhere?
