I have an Octavia with a boot mounted CD changer which has just started saying NO CD and then refusing to open to check the magazine. Anybody know how to open the magazine or is it a trip to the dealer?

Welcome to Briskoda, the changer can be at bugga at times "no cd" "surface" but after a while the errors seem to go. Seems to happen when you put new cds in for a bit then nothing. all good.

Thanks this is the 2nd time its happened in 3 weeks so I think something IS wrong

maybe its time to think about a new radio/CD
