fabia ???

Featured Replies

i was thinking about a fabia vrs but unsure still, i like everything on them but wonderd are they basicly a golf or a polo i thought they were a golf but a couple of folk recon there based on a polo .

if you were to lower it how low can you go of which is practicle ? for looks and handling and what wheels suit them and at what size roughly ?

They're based on the Polo.

Regarding lowering, the vRS is 25 mm lower than the non-vRS version IIRC, with coilovers you can get much lower still but the sump is very low so be careful.

Wheels are 16" standard, 17" ones fit, 18" ones might too but they'd handle pretty badly.

The general consensus seems to be if you want to maintain the ride quality, the Eibach springs and dampers which lower the car about 15-20mm are the best option, but if you don't mind a bone-shaking ride and want it "slammed", then coilovers can take it down 40-60mm.... :D

Sorry to pee on the VW parade but the Fabia came first,Polo second. That makes the Polo sharing a Fabia platform, plus the Fabia won "What car of the Year" for three years, never seen a Polo win ! You won't go wrong with a Ferbie and i guess now is a good time to start looking now the new one is round the corner.

Ummmm no, don't think so :P:rofl:

Eibachs springs will lower your car 25mm. Will make the handling more than capable and giving more traction in some areas. Also they make the car look how it should of done when leaving the factory. Another inch lower.
