leaking washer bottle

Featured Replies

hi all

has anyone else suffered from a leaking washer bottle? I filled mine up on tuesday only for the light to come on again this morning which was odd as id only done 100 miles. filled it back up and went to check on it in the car park before and found that the contents had leaked all over the floor

before i go and book an appoinment and an afternoon off work to get it fixed is there anything simple on these that can become detached and be easily fixed?

Dunno about the Skoda, but it happened in my old Fiat. Was just a pipe at the bottom of the bottle that got disconnected. Not sure what the set-up is in the Octavia!

thanks vimto2000. i tried having a look behind the panel but couldnt get the underneath torx screws off as my driver was too long so i would only be able to check if i jacked it up or sawed my screwdriver in half! Its going into the dealers today to get it looked at plus the lights adjusting again.
