How long a lead time do Skoda need to deliver a new car, either a 1.9 DSG L&K Estate or a 2.0 DSG L&K Estate. Both would be silver, tan leather and have Xenons and ESP added as options.

How long's a piece of string?

It depends whether one of the spec you require is in port or whether it is a factory order, - usually 12 - 15 weeks for factory order I think.

If there is one in port you can usually have it within a week or so.

Suggest you ask a dealer - any dealer will be able to tell you whether they have them in port.

My car will be ready about March, ordered today. If, as said above, there is one in the country to your spec then about a week. It also depends if the dealer has any space left on their order sheet, although they should have.

I thought the L&K came with Xenons standard?

Edit: - Just checked Skoda's website, they are a cost option.

I recently ordered a vRS with a few factory-fit options. The lease company told me 8 - 12 weeks, the dealer when I test drove it told me 12 weeks.

I've just been told 14 weeks for a factory order!

I've spec'd a red vRS 170 PD TDi with Jumbo gubbins, Maxi thingy, Cruise wotcha-ma-call-its and 18" tyre holders.

My Clio is up for sale as well! I wonder if the 'Trader will give me a refund?
