c.a.i fitment

Featured Replies

I'm not looking to start a blame game here. This is just the experience I had, and noone will ever know for sure whether the MAF was on the way out before the kit was fitted anyway. I don't have any ill will towards Jabbasport, they're a very helpful bunch but at a 5 hour round trip, too far away for just popping round to look at these things, AmD are much closer.

I didn't read your comment as being bad.

MAF are notoriously fragile and fail on standard cars.

I understand the long trip.....it took me around 6hours round trip...AmD would be approx 2 hours round.

Have used AmD when it's founder was still there and they were a much smaller company...AmD is huge now and it has lost that small company friendlyness...they know their stuff but are at the top end of the price range....IMHO.

Back on topic....the Jabba CAI is loud but not as much as say the ABD LAN. The filter is from JR...I believe...and very lightly oiled....and was chosen due to MAF concerns.
