New member, but old passion for Skoda !

I drive Skoda for 10 years, starting with Favorit '94 and continuing with Felicia Combi '98, Octavia diesel '98, Octavia 1.8T AGU FWD 2000 and presently Octavia 1.8T ARX 4x4 2003.

I'm glad to join such a great club as yours and I'm here to learn more about Skoda and share my experience gained with its models.

Yes, great core !

I have driven such a model on a highway but also in the mountains (twists and turns) and I can say it is a nice piece. The weakness is its weight: 1550 kilos ! :thumbdwn: Too much for a sport car... My car has 1525 kilos with me as a driver and it's 4x4... But otherwise, a nice comfortable car.

Hi we recently bought a nearly new 2025 Skoda Enjaq 2025 85X and three weeks ago the following happened to my wife on a flat car park: I reversed into a parking space with empty spaces each side of the car. I elevated the P switch to red light position. I opened driver door and screen was on Goodbye. I got out of car and closed driver door. I opened rear right passenger door to remove a bag. Closed that door. Remembered I needed to turn off Interior Monitoring as dog was in the boot. Opened

Two months ago I bought a MY2023 Skoda Octavia with 2.0 TDI engine and 6 speed manual transmission. It now has 184000 kilometers in it. To my knowledge, DMF and clutch are still original. There is no knocking or tapping sound coming from the DMF when the engine is cold. There are also no vibrations even when driving at too low RPMs. Gears change very smooth and clutch doesn't feel worn at all. There is, however, a clunking noise if I turn the engine without pressing the clutch. Can this solely

Noticed today that my rear view camera is seeing more than it used to, that is, I can now see some of the number plate and body work top and bottom. I'm sure it used to be just a nice clear picture of the rear without anything extra? Am I mistaken, does everyone see the number plate and bodywork?
