According to a newspaper article I read today, Skoda UK sold 17,900 Octavia's in 2006 with 2000 of those being the vRS derivative :eek: . I know there are a few registered owners of the new vRS on here, but where's the rest of you?.

Do Skoda have aprox 200 dealers? If so that's getting on for 1 Octavia vRs/month/dealer.

I can't find figures for the whole year yet, but heres what i found about sales upto October 06'

In total, all vRS models (including Fabia vRS) represent 12.2% of Skoda's YTD sales and an even more impressive 13.6% of Skoda's October sales. "

The vRS Diesel hasn't been announced here yet according to Skoda NZ's website.

But we do now have two dealers on the South Island, making seven in total

Last I heard they'd sold 800 cars in total in NZ ! That was before the Mk2 Octy arrived but I haven't seen a Mk2 vRS on the road yet
