There seems to be many options ie remaps, chips & self programming devices.

Could people who have had there 2.0 Tdi tuned give there opinion on the best method

I dont own a PD140, but I can tell you for definate that a remap and a good air filter will be the best route for you to take.

Although tuning boxes are a little more undetectable as long as you remove them for servicing etc.

No matter what any remapping company says, you can always tell when a system has been flashed.

Yes it might be quite a bit of effort depending on whether they have not reset the count(easy) or if they have reset everything(v hard) , but it can be done.
