Featured Replies

Hi really keen to get my car on the rollers for a printout i know its cheaper if you have a group anyone interested poss at tsr hear they have new 4wd being fitted soon cheers.

Are TSR back open? Last I heard they went bust about 12 months ago..... Got any other info regarding the company?

I organised a TSR RR day about 18 months ago, and also had one arranged for the weekend after they announced they'd gone t1ts up. Is it still called TSR? How can that be?

The man from the car sales next door bought it from receivers put some of the old staff back (the good ones) and is under new management definetly re open drove past the other day they got new signs up . The guy said new rolling road 4wd be in by february.

Please keep us posted on this. Are you local to Bridgwater? If they do get a new RR in, I'll be one of the first to try and get a RR day organised there as it's a good central place for SW members. Wonder what type of RR it will be?

I was wondering about the name as "TSR performance" left a lot of people in the lurch when they went under, including Lee, a member on this forum.... If they trade under the same name, I wonder what legal issues that might have. I would hope they'd use a different name. The website still looks the same as it did before it went under too. No mention of the shenanigans of the last 12 months or so.

Yes i am local i live just outside bridgwater the guy in tsr said it was a maha? rolling road 1000bhp:eek: . He said they kept the same name as it was well known and wanted to get rid of the bad rep the old owners gave it.

MAHA?! cool. Thats a dyno brand I recognise.

Why has there been no publicity about this reopening I wonder? I might nip on a couple of local forums and spread the news. :)

And if you do, you'd better come to the RR day, if I get one sorted. Apparently, after posting on a local VW forum to me, there's already groups going. The VR6OC is apparently already booked in to go. I await a reply to my email to TSR with baited breath.

Keep us posted Mr J ;)

I have a feeling I will be attending a few RRs in the next few months to get a good benchmark/stability in the engine before new injectors go on + next phase of mapping commences :D

Funny you should say that. I'll be attending more too. I need to find out these problems and see If I have resolved any of them...

Hmm whats the domain ....

tsr-performance.com seems to have expired ;)

Hmm, not sure

Does that link work? Edit: I just tried the same - Without the www. prefix it doesn't work.

Anyway - had a reply back and the maha RR is a few weeks away yet. Apparently there's a big hole in the workshop floor and dust everywhere. I've asked to be kept in the loop with regards to dates etc. :)

Sorry about that chaps. The website is now back up and running again.

Price Update

I could be interested in this as I'm rather local to bridgy ;) .

What sort of money is an average go on the rollers then - my car should be stock but I'd love to see exactly what it's pushing out.

Is there any danger of damage on a rollers or is it just like a quick hard blast up a decent A road?

Yeah me too, might be interested in a remap too ;)

Oh and holy hell mate if you need a hand with that site let me know :|

Well, TSR used to be a good value run, BUT ;) ;) I suspect the new RR at TSR will not be a fiver a run! I would suspect for a large group somewhere around £25 would be usual, but it's not my call to dictate the price. I should imagine this MAHA will produce a full print and everything.

Might be worth updating the 'history' page as well - no mention of it being under new management, which based on some threads I've read on 't web might be worth making known ;)

Ah LOL looked at it in FireFox so didn't even see the links LOL

  • 2 weeks later...

:bump:

Any news on this then anyone? :)
