I have a Fabia 1.9TDI Estate with engine upgrade. It's on 15inch wheels but I would like to fit vRS alloys. Have any of you guys who've fitted different alloys got a set of vRS wheels, in good nik, for sale. Also, I found the article on the Fabia really good but some of the tuning items mentioned on this site I find bewildering. 'Green filters', 'Seat 160 intakes' etc. Could anyone do an explanitory piece on Fabia tuning, including lowering the suspension. I want to lower mine but don't want to ruin the ride.

Hey there.I have a set but the tyres probably need replaced.The alloys are kerbed too.

green/k&N/Pipercross, they are uprated panel filters that repalce standard paper filter, on their own very little difference mybe 1-3 bhp increase, couple this with the pd160 air intake is the pipe running from the standard air box to the front grill which draws the air in, the pd160 air in take is from the seat cupra range i think and is larger than the furb's standard one. These two together are suppose to help the car breathe better ( more important if you have a remap)

suspension wise unsure believe springs are the cheaper option which will drop the car various cm's and then you could opt for coil overs etc depends on the cash you have to spend.

Hope this helps as i dont have any of these yet but will have soon enough after april when warranty expires.

If you want to 'contact' someone, securely i.e. others won't see.
