UCABLES - VAG COM - anyone used them?

Featured Replies

As the title suggests really

I've found that they supply the new version "607 compatible" VAG COM cable for just a few pounds cheaper than Ross Tech do.

The few pounds difference is not what interests me, however the fact that they are based somewhere in Europe means that I wont get stung for those nasty customs fees. Anyone think of a good reason why I shouldn't but from these as opposed to Ross Tech?

Caveat Emptor!

The stuff those guys sell is not authorized by us, meaning you will receive no support. Furthermore, I'm confident you will not be happy with it in the long term. Their stuff is made in China and the quality is awful. That's OK if you're spending $20, not OK if you're spending that kind of money.

Yeah - i'll accept that as a good reason ;)

UWE - any ideas on what exactly the sting is on the fees from coming through customs?

Mine cost me £27 ish IIRC including a UPS fee.
