Hi all, bought some oil and filter, didnt get time yesterday to doit but i looked at the oil filter i bought, it not like a petrol one all metal, its like an air filter type with a rubber tube on the end, is this correct and oh by the way, where does go ????? is it the round thing behind the radiatore witha big hex nut on top, never changed oil in diesel before........oh and where is the drain plug.......

yeah that's it, you need a big socket to undo it.... iirc it's 36mm.... the oil filter probalby came with a new o-ring for that black cap as well.....

the drain plug is underneath on the bottom of the engine.... 19mm spanner required

presume i have to remove the tray from under engine to get at drain plug, doeas the plug need a replacement plastice/copper washer.....

yeah, nomally the plug gets replaced a during an oil change... the plastic undertray is held on by about 10 phillips screws

I think they're T20 torx screws

err, they might be on some fabia's..... but i took mine off on saturday and mine had phillips screws
