Yeah - I ve tried that before - Im on the cheapest provider I could find - I just wanted a benchmark of what others were paying

try money supermarket they aint bad either but chris not and a flux usually best

Joey - the same car as you , age 37 with 9 years NCB , car garaged at night , max 8000 miles a year ,

i got 9+yrs NCD in BD4, i used Esure ( for cars and bike ) and paid 201 FC, in drive 8-9000 a year ( which has since changed to 450 a week, do the math ) aged 41. ( but dont look it, haha)

as people say its a combo thing, age, location, car, antitheft devices, nickability.

Tesco wasnt bad at one point.

Aged 19, but driving 3 years. Accident in 2004, not my fault and costs recovered. No no claims. Car parked on driveway. 6000 miles per year.

TS6 Postcode.

1.4 16v furby

Normally got quotes at about £2000, but just used confused.com and found admiral @ £867 !!!

GET ON THAT TINTERNET! :D

£850 on my Lupo Sport 1.4 16v

20, electrical fitter/student, 1 years NCB, 10k miles

Admiral did me a great deal on my car, I did the multicar policy with my wifes car and got the pair for undr £400 fully comp.

Neither are Skodas though ;)

I'm 17 and three quarters and i drive an Octy VrsII and i pay 5k!!

Another vote for Admiral - they just need reminding that they 'may' not be the cheapest :D

Got my new Fab vRS down to

Jesus H. Christ

What do you work as? I want your job :D

I tried a quote as me as the main driver of my parents Octavia L&K 2001, about £3000! No chance there then for a while.

Only prob with Admiral is they "cheat" with their 10-month policies.

I'm 29 with 3 years NCB and no points, and pay

Ive just realised though that the quotes chucked up by confused.com mightnt be 100% correct for me because I had to put my age as 1 year more as I passed my test @ 16. Shouldnt affect it too much though:O

1.4 mpi Fabia estate £184 DE56 postcode 12000 m/pa through Virgin car ins I am 24 with 5 years no claims, pretty cheap for an under 25 IMHO

17 years old octy vrs? hmmmm I think someone is telling porkeys there.

I'm an insurance broker for a special scheme called "exec cover" on behalf of equity insurance brokers. its for investment banks at lehmans in london.

I'd love to kno who insures you! cos I'm dam sure we wouldn't!

I'm 17 and three quarters and i drive an Octy VrsII and i pay 5k!!

You would be better off using the chaeufer or taxis

25% of the cost of the car in insurance yeah right

Can you not get a shot of daddies silver ghost at weekends :-)

just as a shaggin wagon?

Jimbo

Jimbo, dont presume that because he is young and has cash that he has a daddy who pays for everything for him - give the lad a chance, you never know he may have won the lottery:D (hence the reason why Im being nice to him, he might be generous with his cash too!;) ;) nudge nudge) .

I do have to admit that a 17 year old with a vrs is not very realistic though, as most insurers would run a mile :o

Stock VRs, garaged, 7 yrs no claims and 9 POINTS -
