does anyone know which front speaker wires are the positive + one's the passenger side has two sets 2 red/ 2 brown with stripe (brown with stripe being positive + )on the drivers side there's 2 blu with stripe and 2 brown with stripe so i went with the brown, i tried it both ways round and couldn't tell the diffarance

any idea's

electronically it actually makes no difference which way you wire up a speaker... but you can cause problems with sound quality if one is wire up one way and one is wired up the other way because one of the speakers will be out of phase.... but you only notice it at high volumes

In my 2004 Octy mk1:

Drivers side:

BLUE/WHITE = +

BROWN/WHITE = -

Passenger side:

RED = +

BROWN/RED = -
