need help people!

i am having problems with my vrs.

the main one being my steering wheel wobbling at around 40mph whilst braking lightly.

my first thoughts were, ar brake discs must be warped, but the strange thing is it only does it when the car is in neutrul and rolling. it doesnt wobble when its in gear rolling.

any ideas:confused:

nope the wheels have been balanced twice at two different garages, i would think if it were the wheels it would wobble all the time though? got it booked in at a local stealer on thurday to let them have a look.

cos thats the ony way i can get it to wobble alot, it wobbles most of the time when braking, just more when out of gear.

i dont make a habbit of freewheeling much

I thought my brakes were made of jelly, but they were just a trifle spongey.

Take it to local MOT garage and ask tester to do a brake test. He will apply brakes very slowly and harder and if the discs are warped the indictors will flicker to show. Bung the bloke a £5 for testing them then take car home and fit new discs and pads if needed.

the dealer i took the car to this morning has confirmed to me that the front brakes are warped and covered by warrenty, also they are going to fix my mooing brakes under warrenty,

can i ask how many miles the car has done mate and how old it is?

yer, its done 24k and it was registered in sept 2004 on a 54 reg.
