...just bought a carbon fibre vrs battery cover off fleabay, without paying too much attention to the battery under my bonnet.

(I KNOW ITS PROBABLY A BIT CH@V FOR SOME AND NOT TO EVERYONE'S TASTE SO DON'T GO THERE AND START A RIOT ON THIS THREAD! :rolleyes: )

Obviously, to everyone else who owns a Fabia there's loads of plastic, wire's and stuff all over the battery, so it didn't fit when i got it today:mad:

'scuse my ignorance but what is it all stuff for?

Still, got my Leon splitter to fit as well so that should cheer me up, also taking her on her first big run on friday too, from Lincoln to Southampton!

Hi. I was recovered to a dealership 3 weeks ago after going into limp mode EPC and getting an Oil pressure sensor failure warning. A blade type fuse was replaced and car returned to me. After 3 weeks and 1000 miles i had identical issue and car had to be recovered again. Prior to all of this the engine had suddenly developed a very noticable clatter - initially under load but after the first sensor issue its present all the time. Skoda wont look into this unless i pay £1500 for strip down only

Yesterday, on the way back from work, my car suddenly had a stop start error and the EPC light came on, the car functions completely normal and there's no difference in how it was driving before... My friend used a obd2 scanner which showed no fault codes on the ECU, cleared it and the light and error went away, I drove a bit and there are no lights or errors on the car, I was just wondering what could have caused this as online it says anything from turbo waste gate or actuator problems to a

One is the reversable boot floor, carpet one side and a sort of plastic the other. Both items are in great condition too Second is a rear sun screen, it's a mesh material in a metal frame that you clip inside the hatch window, it keeps out a ton of heat and you can take it out for winter, you can't see into the car also. My 280 had tinted side windows but the rear glass was not done. Both are huge and would be prohibitively awkward to post. If you want either you WILL need to come to Swindon.
