Wireless cameras for new vRS

Featured Replies

While there is not much I can do about scum stealing my car at night (besides an alarm), the big hassle where I live happens as the daylight hours get longer and youngfellas decide to use you car to boot their rugby ball off. My last RS suffered a no. of these dents. No choice but to keep car parked out on road at the moment, so thinking of this for inside car. It's a basic wireless camera with transmitter and be powered by batteries. Not IP or anything.

Wireless-2.4Ghz

I already have a full axis wireless ip security system with ptz cameras setup for the house. This would be an additional deterrant to keep the scummers away during the day as right now car is parked out on road

I ordered a wireless 2.4Ghz camera a few months ago but I sent it back because it rendered my wireless network completely useless, as soon as the camera was turned on every computer in the house disconnected from the 802.11G. :(

What brand was it ?

I spent about 3 months wiring my house up properly, and another month wiring up my friends pub. A combination of wireless and power over ethernet cameras. No problem with the wireless ones at all. I used Axis IP cameras which are considering by pros to be one of the best. Some excellent software too.
