Could anyone update me on a recommended tyre pressures for a fully loaded octavia 2.00tdi pulling a caravan. I get very frustrated by my local dealer who does not seem to know.

I drive the previous model octavia 130pd estate and when towing I set the pressures to the maximum shown for full laden. (Look inside the fuel filler cap for a label which shos the details)

Basically the firmer your tyres are (within the corect limits) the less chance you have of a snake occuring due to the minimised flex in the tyre sidewalls.

This July will be hopefully getting the diesel scout estate which means I will be able to tow my curent van with an even better ratio of car to van weights.

Hi also tow with the fully laden pressures as shown on the fuel cap.
