I there just thought i'd pop in and say hello and ask a few questions. I'm jonnie and I currently drive a BMW 318se touring but I'm looking to change to and Octavia vRS very soon. I'm away this Sunday to test drive the diesel version at G Chathams. I'm not totally unfamilure with the Octavia as my Dad and I drive G Chatham old Octavia 2.0tdi. What I would like to know is your experiences with the vRS model and what do they do to make the engine produce 170bhp rather than 140bhp is it just software?

- Different (As in piezo vs PD) injectors

- Bigger Turbo

- Different Map

I mean the difference between the same 2.0 tdi PD (140ps) engine and the 2.0 tdi pd (170ps) is it just the turbo. I know that the last series od diesel (non pd) have different (hydrolic injectors) and the pd has electric higher pressure system.

Cheers just needed to know how they changed the 140ps pd to 170ps pd?
