Thanks Bahn I was looking through the threads and spotted this pic as well. Cheers

Those wheels look really smart.

Yup, they sure do. :D

It doesn't show clearly in the photo but they have a highly polished anthracite (sort of smoky) finish  That's why I've ordered them on my vRS TDI.

They're the dealer fit B14 style 18" by 8J - £180 inc VAT - a bit pricey but, as is said, your worth it.

OK, mine isn't a vRS but it is highly polished and in black magic. :D

Tyres are standard 225/40 18s on the B14 wheels.

Sorry, can't comment on keeping the Black clean, the car is not mine. I have a Corrida Red - generally hides the dirt fairly well!

I can say that black is not good for keeping clean! That photo of mine was taken last weekend . . now mine is filthy! But IMO black is well worth it because when it's clean, it looks better than anything other colour. :)

Nice car mate looks in mint condition.

i just polished my blak octavia and it look verry goog like them in foto and the bad thing i found a small dent probably from somebady who open the car door in to my wheel arch

the dirt was so weel siting on my car that make me notice the dent only when i take off the polish from it

  • 2 weeks later...

I have the VRS TDI in sprint yellow. theirs only a couple of diesels in tht color b4 skoda stopped using it! I have to wash it 2 or 3 times a week and have scotch guard on the interior and exterior to protect it all but Yellow is definetly the hardest color to keep clean but easily the best looking! it gets alot of attention and head turning. even the dealers think its the best VRS they have seen.

Thats why I opted for magic black. I didn't want to be sitting at the traffic lights drawing attension of all the ***** in the saxos. Stealth is my moto.:)
